Have you ever hopped into an 80's DTM car on the sim, excited to throw it around Le Mans like the drivers of old? You think to yourself: "Even the mightiest of sausage curbs can't hurt me while i'm in this incredible machine!" You excitedly select hotlap in content manager to throw the car around. You attack the first curb you see with a vengeance and violence unlike any other and then...one full second later...after attempting to catch a horrific slide the likes of Michael Shumacher couldn't catch...you are facing the direction from whence you came. Your soul is shattered into pieces and your dream of being a race car driver goes down the drain. The truth is that the stock setup on the BMW E30 M3 Gr.A 92 sucks plain and simple. I did my best to mitigate the unfiltered lies that Assetto Corsa is trying to communicate through your Fanatec CSL DD from alibaba (You knew 20 bucks was too good to be true.) One piece of wisdom before going out there and tearing up the asphalt of Le Mans; Treat the kerbs like sausage kerbs, and the sausage kerbs like mini brick walls preventing you from facing the correct direction on track. The car can attack most kerbs on the track without issue, but kerbs on the Circuit de la Sarthe are subject to some pretty knarly elevation changes. So choose wisely which kerbs you attack and which ones to force your friends to take when you intentionally force them off their line (Remember that rubbing is racing.) Be wary of Mount Everest just shy of the apex of the last corner. Have fun and happy racing!
